Well, lest I put the whammy on great expectations, I've tried to maintain a "wait and see" approach to the soothsaying on Election 2010...but (barring, of course, some cataclysmic event) the prognosis for an election of historical blow-out proportion is just too intense to resist any longer.

Looking at today's Real Clear Politics forecast, the GOP has 212 house seats likely to be already in hand with 218 needed to control. Of the 42 seats remaining as "too close to call", only 2 (count 'em...TWO!) are currently incumbent GOP.

Can you say Speaker-elect Boehner? I think I can (not that I think Boehner should be a shoo-in either).
