Whoah. I first became aware of this Michigan Congressman (R) while recently channel surfing and stumbling upon a Huckabee b'cast in which the congressman was accompanying Huckabee's band.

Today, via Drudge, I learned of his presidential aspirations and commenced to take a look. Perhaps after viewing his appearance on "Red Eye", you may become as intrigued as I am.

Firm on his ideological/rhetorical feet, quick witted and actually quite dead pan funny, Congressman Thaddeus McCotter made an impressive debut in my minds-eye.

I saw last week on Huckabee's show, and I too was favorably impressed with him. He also plays a good lead guitar!
