James Taranto with a reminder as to just who was the truth-teller in 2004...

Kerry based his campaign on the assertion that he was a war hero while Bush was a shirker--claims the media dutifully repeated. In the Democratic myth, Kerry's campaign was destroyed by lying Bush operatives who denied his true heroics. In reality, the Swift Boat Veterans for Truth, an independent group, raised legitimate questions about Kerry's behavior in combat, and they had him dead to rights on his ultra-left-wing antiwar activity.

My guess is Kerry is jockeying for Sec. of State should Obama prevail in November. Hopefully, should that nightmare occur, the James Tarantos of the journalism world will remind America of what the Swiftees brought to the table inre Kerry in 2004. |

Democrats were slapped pretty hard by the guys and will not ever get over it.
Everywhere I hear the Dem talking point on the Swifties, I'm quick to give a correction.
Kerry should still be in Leavenworth, not the Senate. _________________ Clark County Conservative |

And that preposterous narrative will continue as long as Kerry is considered to be politically viable. Once his fraudulency finally departs public life, the real historians (who currently cower in their politically correct bunkers) will emerge.
I hope Kerry lives long enough to read what will surely be his historical biography. |
