Was one of my fathers favorite movies because he didnt much care for officers. (he did have a heavy heart for mustangs...one of his daughters, my sister became one)
It was amazing to watch. Nothing has been filmed in the last 50 years to compare other than a few shots from Dark Knight (christopher nolans batman)
The 70mm film is amazing. Wish studios still spent money on the product and not marketing.
btw, I watched the 20 year anniversary of LOA and this release blows it away. What they did with this 70mm transfer to digital projectors is amazing.
It was unreal.
