======================

One of the best "tweets" of the night was by ???? don't remember who:

"Romney strapped Obama to the top of his car and drove him around for 90 minutes."

Thank you swiftvets for your service to country. What you might not realize is how much effort people such as myself put into this election because of your effort to reignite the American flame during a time when blue blood republicans would not do it at risk of losing social drink status.

God Bless you all!

My wife and I attended "Grandparents Day" at our granddaughter's Private Christian School today. What an honor! What a God-fearing, Patriotic, Family-oriented school it is! After lunch, prepared at the school and serving more than 800 meals for the kids and their grandparents in less than an hour, we attended the program in the auditorium. The theme was Patriotism, and it included patriotic songs, a "Game Show" all involving patriotic events with a panel of kids and grandparents trying to answer questions, and a salute to all of our Armed Services. Each branch was honored, including playing our songs, and as each branch was honored, veteran grandparents of that branch were asked to stand and be honored. So much more, but what a wonderful experience. It closed with a prayer and an invocation, and each grandmother was given a red carnation and a white carnation. Too bad public schools, where this was once a part of the experience, no longer allow any of this.

Wow, TEWS, that sounds so beautiful!

You're right - not gonna find anything like that in the public schools. I'm glad you were able to spend some good time like that with the grandkids.

The "Panel" even had to answer a question about which of the following is NOT a social network....say WHAT? You mean like "square dance clubs"????....No, and they listed three (Facebook, Twitter, and ......gosh what was the last one? oh, yeah, "Insta-something-or-other")....and the fourth one was "texting", which is NOT a Social "network"....stumped some of the still-in-the-horse-and-buggy-types, but the kids nailed the answer in a nano-second.

The kids even parked their cars across the street so the school parking lot was open for the grandparents, and they marshaled the cars in so those needing closer parking (more elderly or can't walk too well) were placed closest to the doors. Handicapped used the handicapped spots, and kids even helped walk the ones needing help inside. It was like what Heaven will probably be like compared to the drugs and thuggery in public schools.

Yeah, lots of Catholic schools headed down this road. Pro-aborts speaking at Notre Dame, of all things. Sad This is what you get when you put "tolerance" before truth.

Now is it just me, or do you see the utter contempt in this man's face?

What we saw at the Democratic National Convention is the embracing of all the things God hates and warns us to avoid. It is spelled out clearly in Romans Chapter 1. Even trying to put God back into that evil platform was an act of blasphemy. God would not want His name associated with that paganism. So much more I could post about the decline of America and how we are doing everything our founders warned us NOT to do, but it will play out for all to see. Let those who have eyes and those who have ears heed the warnings.

The libs are feeding on each other, with filet of Obama as the main course.

And the trend continues with Kerry getting now getting the blame from the admin.

Vowing not to make the same debate prep error with Biden that they did with Obama,

David Axlerod takes over as Joe Biden's debate coach.

Oh, right, 'cause that's SUCH a step up in knowledge and intelligence and personal likeability! LOLOL!!!!!

I hear they're installing an airbag on Biden's podium. First to keep him company and second to keep him from harm when he crashes and burns.

The campaign is already hemorrhaging - apparently foreign donors are in charge of that treatment plan....

For some reason the image in my previous post keeps disappearing, so I just save it and uploaded it myself.

So that's what the missing picture was!

Appropriate. I'll bet Biden/Ryan will be funnier, though. Very Happy
