Only a heartbeat away from the Presidency, Joe Biden takes SIX DAYS OFF from campaigning to prepare for his debate with Pumped-up Paul Ryan.

"C'mon, toss me that nuclear football!

Fixed your picture. : ) EJ

That is one freaky picture, TEWS!

Did his last facelift damage a nerve or is it botox making his right eye do that weird thing?

He was even stranger than normal last night - all that inappropriate snickering and rolling his eyes.

Hey Joe - this isn't fourth grade and we're talking about stuff that is important to the people. Sit up straight and act like you give a rats butt, would'ya? Confused

Thanks for fixing the picture...now I know how.

Yeah, someone said Biden must have spent part of Bill Maher's $1 Million on booze. Best line I heard about Biden's laughing and acting like a Jacka$$ was that he had eaten Mexican food and a "fist full of Margaritas" prior to the debate, and being drunk, he was farting and laughing and saying, "bet you can't top THAT one!!"

Here's another view of the VP debate:

Meanwhile, Obama is changing his strategy for the second debate with Romney:

(H/T Gateway Pundit)

Barack Obama and Candy Crowley (both pointing) tag team on Mitt Romney at debate.

CNN’s Candy Crowley gave Barack Obama 9% more time.
She interrupted Mitt Romney 28 times during the debate.
She picked questions designed to help Barack Obama.
One of these "undecided questioners" is a local "Code Pink" activist.
She picked a question comparing Romney to Bush… But not Obama to Carter?
She corrected Mitt Romney when she was incorrect.
She contaminated the debate.
Crowley’s false fact check saved Obama and derailed the debate.
She injected herself into the hottest part of the debate and she was flat-out wrong.
And, she even interrupted Mitt Romney and told him to “sit down” at one point.

Candy Crowley confirmed what most fair-minded Americans already believe.
The media is biased and in the tank for Barack Obama.

If Candy Crowley was an honorable journalist she would resign today from CNN.
For the sake of her profession.

Crowley was primed to throw Obama a lifeline at any point during the debate where he stumbled. She also ran interference like a pulling Guard to keep Romney from tackling him on his lies. She performed just as despicably as everyone expected. She is just another hack "JournoList" lapdog.

Candy showed herself to be an old Crowley in her role as moderator. Many of the questions that she chose are not, and were not, issues in this election. What they actually were was a transparent attempt to introduce questions favorable to Obama. IOW, the favorite topics of liberals, gun control, government funded abortion on demand, etc. That gave The One more time to waste on topics that do not address the concerns of the majority, all the while trying to get to the end of the debate without putting his foot in his mouth.

The moderator was an embarrassment to the profession of journalism. At least I can say that her performance was not unexpected.

Tell that to all the BLACK athletes that play professional sports for Denver or all the BLACK college athletes who play at NCAA DIVISION I level or even the BLACK High School athletes....what a dumbA$$.

"I'm going to say something controversial here, Gore said on Current TV. Obama arrived in Denver at 2 p.m. today, just a few hours before the debate started. Romney did his debate prep in Denver. When you go to 5,000 feet and you only have a few hours to adjust I dont know."

He sure doesn't know. He doesn't know his A$$ from Pike's Peak.

Gore forgets that the cabin differential pressure in airliners (AF-1 might be even more comfortable) is about 3000-5000 feet, not sea level. The actual cause of Obama's apparent disorientation was the air pressure between his ears, or lack thereof.

The following is the reaction his lousy performance caused on his devotees (hey, Chrissy Matthews, whats that brown stream running down your tingling leg?):

Barrack-o-trauma. As the hopes of the devotees climb or descend based on how badly Obama is deconstructing right before their eyes, disillusioned devotees may experience discomfort or acute pain as gases trapped within their bodies expand or contract. The most common problems occur with air trapped in the middle ear (aerotitus) or paranasal sinuses by a blocked Eustachian tube or sinuses as the CRAP in their brains breaks loose. Pain may also be experienced in the gastrointestinal tract or even the teeth (barodontalgia) as they GRIT THEM IN DISGUST. Usually these are not severe enough to cause actual trauma but can result in soreness in the ear that persists after the debate and can exacerbate or precipitate pre-existing medical conditions, such as pneumothorax…and any tendency to donate any more money to the loser.

John F'ing Kerry and Algore, both handed a defeat by a dumb cowboy from Texas. HTH did that ever happen???? They still haven't figured that one out! Laughing

HTH is that there were about 3million Vietnam era vets alive for that election. Kerry lost by about 3 million votes. I rest my case.

Russ Vaughn did a great job of capturing it in a poem on Monday, 21 January 2008. I posted it on my website.

Here's the best part:

The vindication we’ll accept
In settling up this long-held debt,
Is each of us will do his best
To deny you, John, your life-long quest.

Listen carefully John to what we say,
November 2nd is Veterans’ Day.
