The latest rumor making the rounds is that Barack Obama replaced General Carter Ham at AFRICOM after the general made a move to help the US security officials at the Benghazi consulate and annex. Ham was replaced by Gen. David Rodriquez on October 18.

The information I heard today was that General [Carter] Ham as head of AFRICOM received the same e-mails the White House received requesting help/support as the attack was taking place. General Ham immediately had a rapid response unit ready and communicated to the Pentagon that he had a unit ready.

General Ham then received the order to stand down. His response was to screw it, he was going to help anyhow. Within 30 seconds to a minute after making the move to respond, his second in command apprehended General Ham and told him that he was now relieved of his command.

The story continues that now General Rodiguez would take General Ham’s place as the head of AFRICOM....

heard the screams of the securitry advisers

and did nothing.

Actually, he went to bed, then got up the next morning and took Air Force One to Las Vegas to do stand up comedy and attend fund-raisers.

Speaking of worse and worse - a fleet commander goes down at the same time as Ham.

The rumor is that he launched aircraft in defiance of the stand down.

Woods and Doherty, holding off an overwhelming body of terrorists, waiting for air support to come in and take out the mortars that they've nailed with laser targets.

The air support never comes.

This is but one of the "accomplishments" of this administration. Just think of what we can "look forward to" if it goes on for another 4 years.

You can attack Americans at will because the muslim president will not attack muslims. Their rules of engagement favor muslims. He's even provided arms to the Muslim brotherhood.

And if you do kill some, don't worry - because the American media won't even report it.

They lie to take credit for things they didn't do, and they lie to cover up illicit and unethical and criminal and inept things that they actually do .

They ask others to sacrifice for them, but when others, like Ambassador Stevens, Tyrone Woods, Glen Doherty, and Sean Smith ask for help to save their lives, that help is DENIED .

What honorable person could endorse or vote for such scoundrels as Obama and Biden and the corrupt and criminal Democrats?


Regarding the theory that this was a fake kidnapping gone bad, the icing on the cake would be if the Muslim Brotherhood planned to double cross Obama all along and simply used him to unwittingly set up the Ambassador for assassination.

Obama can't admit it was all a scam to give him a way to trade the Blind Sheik and he got double crossed, so now he has to explain how completely inept and callous he was to do nothing and let them be slaughtered. He is in a box.

and lasted 6 or 7 hours.

BlackFive is hosting an interesting comment on Fox News' claim that Woods/Doherty were painting the mortar position with a laser.

Black Five's guest says that they wouldn't have been lasing a target unless there was an aircraft overhead to synch with the laser. (I confirmed this with someone that knows and he said that if the a/c wasn't overhead, it was at least inbound and expected momentarily)

Rush Limbaugh commented on this today, saying that Woods/Doherty were exposing their position with the laser - that's apparently "highly unlikely" according to my source.

Pajamas Media is saying that our guys had a Spectre overhead the annex and it was not allowed to fire on the lased mortar position.

An Admiral and a General have been relieved of command - The ADM is said to have launched aircraft in support of our guys after being ordered to stand down. The GEN is said to have given the order to GO with special ops - and within 30 seconds to a minute was apprehended and relieved of command by his second in command.

The official story out of the white house is coming apart at the seams.

How do you live with yourself when you had the chance to try to save them, but you did nothing?

Besides, he hadda be up early to fly to Vegas the next day.

Someone asked me the other day, "How could he do this to his own people?" and my answer was that these *weren't* his people. They were OUR people.

*His* people were the ones attacking the consulate.
