"Sources" say Obama's first comment when he reached the "Situation Room" was, "Did any Muslims get hurt?" /sarc>

Conventional wisdom is, Obama and his gang will try to stall and stonewall until as long after the election as possible. Don't expect the Geldings on Prozac to try to pry the truth out of them anytime soon.

Don't forget, and you can read about it on Michelle Malkin, there has been almost NOTHING reported about the attack on Camp Bastion in Afghanistan, where several aircraft were destroyed, and the Harrier Squadron Commander and a Marine Sgt were killed.

What about the Camp Bastion attack?

No, we don't know for sure that a/c were launched. We do know that an ADM (a fleet commander) has been relieved of command out of his expected rotation time. We have the rumors that within a minute of giving the launch order, he was relieved by his second in command. We also know that Woods and Doherty would not have been painting the target unless there was an aircraft overhead to engage the laser.

We have a GEN relieved of command outside of HIS expected rotation date. The rumor there are that he assembled a team and had them ready. He was told to stand down and he gave the order to go, anyway.

Yes, why aren't we hearing about Camp Bastion? A fifth of the Harrier fleet destroyed in one attack.

Or the attacks on our embassies all over the middle east?

Or the "blue on green" murders of our own troops.

Yeah, terrorism is dead, all right. Confused

we need to ask specific questions.

was there a drone on station?
was it armed?
is it customary for thatdrone to be unarmed?

were aircraft sent into the air?
by whose order?
who ordered them to return?

was a rescue team on standby?
if not, why not?

was the ANY precautionary movement of assets
toward Libya?
if not by whose order?

what ships were in the area?
what orders did they receive?

The problem is - who do you ask?

0bama has classified all the observation video as Top Secret. He is stonewalling the very few reporters willing to press him on the issue.

As with the TANG document debacle, we have no one to ask but each other. We can only compare notes with each other.

The ADM and GEN who were relieved will not be reporting to us any time soon - certainly not before the election.

This is where Congress should step in using their oversight authority the same way they did when Nixon stonewalled about Watergate, but that would require Congressmen with brains and courage...anybody know where we can find some? Appointing a "special prosecutor" would be asking for another fox to check out the hen house with Holder in charge of the DOJ.

we can't wait for Congress to act.
the election is in one week.

who to ask?
well, ask your network of military and
ex-military friends.

beyond that, the bigwigs have to speak up,
and take the message directly to voters.

repeating myself, but,
I think our arguement shold be something like,

were forces alerted, and ordered to move toward
Libya, if not why not? Remember, there were 30 other
people at risk.

were there aircraft in the air, just of
the coast of Libya. if not, why not.

for God's sake, there were mortar bombs falling
on our diplomatic mission, Or side didn't know what more
the enemy had planned. What does it take
for the Navy to be ordered to start moving ships
toward the trouble? The attack lasted 6 hours,
6 hours of steaming is what, 180 miles?

Of course there was at least one aircraft in the air, after all, the attack was being watched in real time by the White House, etc, and the ability to do that was facilitated by that aircraft.

0bama administration says that the drones overhead were unarmed.

That means that the lasing was done for some other asset either overhead or eta imminent.

Why the second drone (launched from Sigonella) was not armed is unknown.

That's all true, if you believe the WH. Frankly, I can't bring myself to trust this one. POTUS has already lied over this Benghazi stuff, so I suspect more of the same. Admitting that any air asset was armed just puts the WH in deeper crap.

Well, well, well.... (H/T Gateway Pundit)

Al-Qaeda Linked Radical Abdel Hakim Belhajj Was Hired By Obama Administration to Run Security at Tripoli Embassy

Catherine Herridge: State Department Culpable in Death of Ambassador & Three Americans

FOX News foreign policy analyst Catherine Herridge told Greta Van Susteren Wednesday, “From what I see the State Department has culpability in the death of the US Ambassador and three Americans.”

The warnings to the State Department were:
** Specific
** Direct
** They named the enemy
** They said the consulate needed more support

This followed the damning memo that was released today signed by Ambassador Stevens in August and sent to the State Department. The classified cable on August 15 warned the Obama Administration that the Benghazi consulate could not withstand a “coordinated attack.”

Catherine Herridge:

“What I see is a growing body of evidence that the State Department has culpability in the death of the ambassador and those three Americans. The warnings were specific. They were direct. They named the enemy and they said that this consulate needed more support. And it also indicated in the cable that the consulate should probably move long term into the annex. We now know that’s the CIA facility in Benghazi… I think it’s important that the people who died have themselves honored with the facts and I think we’re starting to get the facts.”

I've been following that... you know, in the same report, Catherine Herridge reported that the FBI went into the embassy compound to make an assessment/investigation.

Later, CNN reporters went in and found classified documents AND Amb Stevens' journal. (which they are not releasing - can't imagine why!)

Bill apparently already advised Hillary to resign - do you think she's going to take the fall for 0?

Shrillary will resign right after the sun starts coming up in the West. None of them will resign. They don't think the Republicans have the guts or brains to prosecute them and win...and that's a pretty safe position to take, considering the other options. Hunker in the bunker, run out the clock, and hope the media can ignore it until it becomes old news.

The dripping seems to be getting faster. More holes in both the CIA and the WH/State stories are opening like oozing sores almost hourly. Clearly Shrillary had to be at least in agreement with not honoring the earlier requests for more security, and hours before the actual attack, they were getting "Things are starting to look scary, you might want to send us some help" messages from Benghazi.

Personally, I would use the shotgun approach and fire everybody from POTUS and Shrillary on down until I found the first Seaman, Marine, Airman, or Soldier slick-sleeve who could tell me the correct time of day.

If the Red Queen had the brains that God gave a goat, she'd take Bill's advice, resign amd go into hiding until this whole thing blows over.
That being said, she, like Bill, is incapable of doing the honorable thing. She will cling to her Secretary of State title until the bitter end, hoping that she can stick it out until inaugeration day and a graceful end happens upon the transfer of power to President Romney.
