In 1970, when I reported to the Swiftboat base in Cat Lo, the fellows that showed me the ropes my first week told stories me about an officer that had recently gone back to the states after a very short and disgraceful tour. These guys weren't very flattering to the record of that officer and it was evident that they didn't like him and some of the stunts that he pulled while at Cat Lo.
That officer was Kerry.
They obviously weren't lying about him in 1970. So there is no reason to expect them to change their stories 34 years later.
