A couple of thoughts

The definition of a child

I have always understood the difference between civilization and barbarity to be the protection of women and children. Often these days, it seems we no longer protect them, thus was thinking recently, what is the definition of a child.

A quick search using the Edge browser Bing shows,
1. a young human being below the age of puberty or below the legal age of majority.

A search using the Chrome browser Google shows,
1. a young human being below the age of puberty or below the legal age of majority.

Cambridge Dictionary defines Child as,
a person from the time of birth until he or she is an adult, or a son or daughter of any age
This seemed inaccurate, so off to the dictionary of my youth.
Merriam-Webster defines Child as,
1. a : an unborn or recently born person b dialect : a female infant
2. 2a : a young person especially between infancy and youth a play for both children and adults

Interestingly, in England if a drunk driver kills the unborn, they call it child destruction, yet how can that be? The Cambridge dictionary clearly shows that the definition of child does not include the unborn.

Here in America, we do still consider the unborn to be children and thus should be protected as shown in numerous legal situations and Webster’s definition. Although, as evidenced by Google and Bing, the move is towards de-humanizing a large segment of the children.


Why the Left is after the NFL

During college, one of my history teachers was an 80-year-old retired CIA profiler. He was quite an interesting man. For those of you that do not know, profilers study history to determine how a present-day person might act. Dr. Death reminded us on more than one occasion that the best our government had were employed by the CIA.

He was a bit arrogant, but also super bright and tough. He earned his name.

One of the things he informed us on was the coming attack on the NFL and the reasons for it.

Of course, the attack was not clearly seen back in the 80’s, but to him it was evidenced by the KGB focus on pushing soccer worldwide. It started in Latin America, where Liberation Theology (communist) Jesuit priests would make sure all the children had soccer balls, which were provided by the KGB.

Why soccer?

Well, the Soviet Union had a fear of the young American male. Our football programs, which start at a very early age, develop young men physically to a degree the Soviets were unable to match. Many of these young men join the military.

The Soviets viewed soccer as an emasculating sport that retards the spirit and physicality of men.

Eventually, the Soviet’s thought that soccer might supplant Football here in America. Remember, the Soviets thought long-term.

He said many other methods will be employed to bring down the NFL. “The Soviets end-game is not the NFL, but the destruction of the youth programs, which create young men who end up in the military and not playing in the NFL.”

Notice how concussions are not front page now, but Colin Kaepernick is?

The left always an ulterior motive.

Many who are promoting the destruction of the NFL are clueless as to why. They just follow the marching orders, but make no mistake, the ultimate purpose, is the destruction of the youth programs.
