The title of the above linked article is “A Litany of Leftist Lies”. While I’m not sure if I would call these “Lies” by the left--They are certainly accusations by the left and the Anti-Iraq War crowd to try and get people to believe that the US Government went into Iraq under false pretenses. These six "Lies", as the Article calls them, have been key for the Anti-Bush crowd to try and cast doubt into the integrity and credibility of the President and his administration.

This article does the best job I have seen (so far) of putting these “Lies” into one article and showing why they don’t stand up to scrutiny. I have added articles I have found that add extra documentation to the above article.

Lie #1: President Bush intentionally misled the nation when he stated that Saddam had sought yellowcake uranium in Niger.
--The bipartisan 9/11 Commission Report exposed Joe Wilson as a liar.
--UK Butler Report finds reporting on attempts to obtain uranium Niger as credible and accurate:

Lie #2: “Bush claimed Iraq was an imminent threat.”
-Bush never said this
--White House officials took great pains to stress that Saddam Hussein’s regime must not be allowed to become an imminent threat.
-- “This is about an imminent threat.” Was stated by a White House Spokesman in reference to a discussion about Turkey and NATO.

Lie #3: “Saddam had no ties to al-Qaeda.”
--Bush never said that Iraq had anything to do with 9/11
--Saddam’s regime offered $25,000 in blood money to the families of Palestinian suicide bombers. Saddam harbored prominent terrorist figures like Abu Nidal, responsible for the deaths of American citizens, and Abdul Rahman Yasin, an Iraqi who helped hatch the 1993 attack on the World Trade Center. He also sponsored Ansar al-Islam, the al-Qaeda spin-off group headquartered in northern Iraq. (See the article)
-Page 61 of the 9/11 Commission report references an Iraqi/Ansar al-Islam connection

Lie #4: “Operation Iraqi Freedom has increased the terrorist threat to the United States”
-A list of the major success of the US and our Allies in the “War on Terror” shows this to be silly (see the article)

Lie #5: “There were no WMDs in Iraq.”
-No “Stockpiles”, but WMDs have been found and WMD programs have been found (See the article)

Lie #6: “We have no allies in our war on Iraq.”
-30+ countries participating with the US
-Oil for Food scandal shows why some countries may have opposed action in Iraq.
