Just "Thank you!"
Thank you, thank you, thank you. You who put this site together and moderate it and update it and service it are a true light to the American tradition of truth and freedom of expression. Your efforts are the bedrock under why veterans become veterans.
We enlist and go to faraway places to defend exactly what is happening here. Thank you!
We persevere because of what you do here, encouraging us, urging us, showing each of us--through your actions and those of the comrades we meet here--that we are not alone. Thank you!
Other (responsible) sites speak in awe-smitten tones of what goes on here, of the sense of honor present here, the ethics that are present here. This site and the people who make it what it is (that'd be all of us), well, we're like David against Goliath.
David had just a couple of smooth stones and a sling. He was good to go with God. And he was a helluva good shot--like the SwiftVets. Thank you!
We will do this thing! I posted something tonite on the "Near total media failure" topic about the Titanic and how the Kerryboat is taking on water. This is happening because "David" put together an olympic-grade ad, took that round stone and slung it right between the eyes of the Kerry campaign on a shoestring budget driven by integrity, courage and no small amount of righteous anger. Because of what started at a reunion and took root here, that boat is bottom-bound. Thank you!
You have breathed new life into this old fart. Thank you!
And just to be sure I keep this on target and on topic, Kerry's going down and he'll take a very large chunk of the mainlining media with him. Thanks for that, too!
Keep it together, close ranks, and keep the sun in their eyes. We're gonna do this thing! Thank you!
