I just posted a review on Amazon.
"Should be posted in the next 24 hours", according to the confirmation message.

look for one by "J. Bacon":
Based on reading the other nine reviews, Amazon must have shipped me an alternative copy.
Either that, or the excellent cross-references (some things refer to totally unreliable references, like FBI documents) are the items that disqualify this book from being legitimate.
For example, one chapter indicates that John Kerry will not release "The New Soldier" for reprint. A separate search here on Amazon: the book "usually ships in 1 or 2 days", and the cost is $500.00 - $1200, used, in "Very Good" condition.
Either (a) Amazon can't keep this best seller stocked, or (b) the statement in the book is accurate.
I'd highly recommend you part with the $20.00 for this book and judge for yourselves. |
