What the heck is this guy talking about??? Bush doesn't have anything to do with this (SBVT). IT'S NOT BUSH STUPID!!!! (of course I know he know's this and that it is his attempt to persuade/mislead the american voters)
BTW, a number of us here called our local news station complaining when they did their little piece. They spouted the usual about SBVT and O'Neill receiving major dollars from republicans....we all called and asked if they didn't realize how rediculous and biased that made them appear - the fact they failed to mention the MILLIONS of democratic money from Soros and Moore AND the fact that Moore had the VIP seat at the DNC next to former President Jimmy Carter.
Hope I get to see the ad! I live in Georgia! |

The really stupid question no asks the media in rebuttal is: if individuals, some being Republicans don't fund the SBVT, then who the heck do they think should fund them; Democrats?
Of course the majority of individuals who donate to SBVT will be Republicans and there is nothing wrong with that. It's a pointless issue whose only affect is to muddle the real debate. _________________ Watch Kerry Implode Because Of Truth!!

I don't know if that's true, but I DO know that THE PUBLIC is contributing in a big way and will continue to and the dems just cannot stand that. What I'm starting to see from the Kerry people is that they have some twisted notion that they set the RULES, and the rule they insist on is that if you are a republican, you are not allowed to free thought or free action. Remember Edwards mantra? We'll get rid of this "2 America" thing and we'll have just "1 America" -- (smile now) -- and WE (Kerry/Edwards/Kennedy) will re-make it in our image, and that means you all need to quiet down now and think just like us!!
ARG - I wish it would come out more about all the public contributions the SBVFT are getting and end this steady drumbeat of "rich Republicans in Texas." It's actually an insult to the public-at-large -- like we don't even exist... they just want us to shut up. |

okay, he did say specifically "bring it on" to George Bush, and we all know, that’s a vision he is desparately trying to create... He CHALLENGES the people "BEHIND THE AD" to "bring it on!" As the ad was created by the Swiftees, then it follows that he is challenging the Swiftees, and so it seems appropriate and timely to grant his wish and set up a 2-hr, primetime debate with John O'Neill. Perhaps have Brit Hume mediate. You could have rows arranged behind John O'Neill for all the SwiftVets involved with the ad and the book, and you could have a row -- er, rows behind JK for his supporters.
BEFORE the debate begins, however, I would suggest that all of the SBVFTs file past JK and show their IDs so he could make sure none of them is named George Bush, make him look at each one. Then before anything else is done, have him sign an Affidavit immediately indicating that George Bush is NOT one of them. (don't let him write the affidavit though ....) |

Everyone,
Actually the reason the MSM can't stand it is that the Swiftvets are (effectively) for Bush (because we are against Kerry) what the Deaniacs were for the Democrats. This is pure populism fueled by the internet and it is very, very powerful. _________________ -Polaris
