Brinkley's book, presumably using Kerry's war journal as a source, places Jim Rassman on PCF 35 on 13 Mar 69.

According to the Command History of COSDIV 11 there was NO PCF 35 on that mission. In fact, there is no PCF 35 at all in COSDIV 11 the entire duration of Kerry's term.

So where was Rassman?

Does Dick Pease place Rassman on the 3 boat?

Now , Rush is 24/7 on the dumb ass speech we all knew Kerry would
give at the VFF?

The news papers are all saying "little things" its, emblish, its dirt
as usual", they poke fun, some edge around but end up saying
"it will make no difference the American people have all heard this
before"

I have read so many conflicting stories of what boat Rassman was on it isn't even funny. My 16 yr old has been following all this closely, he loves history, he even heard a report that Rassman was on Kerry's boat, sitting on the back eating a chocolate chip cookie when he fell off because of the boat speeding up and taking off that day, then they came back to pick him up.

I don't know how accurate that story is, it's probably just one of many.

It seems as the information is coming out and Kerry and his band are trying to clean up their mess the stories get wilder.

Maybe the 35 was a mistake and was suppose to be 3. Doesn't matter,
the hole's getting deeper and Kerry can't shovel enough dirt to fill it up.

Oh I wanted to really say what he was shoveling but I also don't want to stoop to the level of his supporters.

PC, LOL, maybe just a little on here, LOL, my hubby say's I would never make a good politician because I am far from PC.

I just love watching the hole getting bigger and bigger on Kerry as well as reading Unfit, what a great book, I have my hooks in it and won't let hubby have it until I am done!!

Rassman has been quoted as saying he was on Kerry's boat to begin with.

When Rassman showed up in January, he was described as having been on the boat "behind" Kerry's. Brinkley has him on PCF 35. Then this summer the story morphed into Rassman being on Kerry's boat- in several accounts.

I'd love to see Rassman on Hannity and have to answer the question- "what the hell boat were you actually on?"

PCF 35 is mentioned in the research forum. Do a search to see what you can find. I don't remember who posted it.

That's the point. I went throught Command History of COSDIV 11.

There was no PCF 35. not during Kerry's term.

I agree. Interesting that Brinkley had to get his info from Kerry and it is wrong.

I think Rassman was on the 3 boat. The Command History lists only one mine explosion- not two or three.

This all makes sense.

And it corroborates exactly what the Swifties say.
