Yes, we certainly did!

Diana, Kerry's sister was in town to find some votes for him. She
said, there is a lot at stake here and every vote counted.

She is traveling to Toronto, Vancouver, Europe, Latin and Central America
and Mexico. A real world tour!

She did not do too well here because while 10% of our population here
in Calgary are Americans, only 100 democrats turned up for her meeting. The paper said a few conservatives turned up to express their dismay at the Kerry campaign. (we are a city of nearly a million, not quite, but getting close) so that means she did not get many Americans to turn up for her meeting at "The Good Earth Cafe."

I am being nasty here, but it feels good! The conservatives do this as well, but do it differently, they discovered there were quite a few votes
out there in the last election. I know because I wrote to find out if I
could vote for Bush, but I cannot. (I am a dual citizen Canada/America)

The city has quieted down now that the excitement of her being here
has settled down and now we can go back to being our totally
conservative selves. Imagine the thrill we would have if he, Kerry,
himself turned up, I feel faint at the thought of it~

Yes! Lew, get with the program, we joined last tuesday but it was done
on the q.t. so no-one would get distracted from the election.

That is why she was here, she knows you see, and Kerry being the very
bright lad that he is sent her up here as quickly as possible. Always
doing the smart thing, old Kerry! Fight for the liberal vote he told her!

Sad to say he was wrong, he sent her to the city of Calgary, province
of Alberta......the strongest conservative bastion in Canada! No one
who is liberals get elected here. (alright, a few, but they are, well to be
kind, very strange people)
