The Cambodian Candidate's primary spinmeister "Kambodian Kranish" is at it once
more in today's Boston Globe article titled "Kerry disputes allegations on Cambodia"
{click on title for link to the article}
Only the final paragraph has any logic to it, but is indicative of how this spin is
picking up angular momentum as each twist and turn gets closer to the truth.

Michael Medeiros, who served aboard the No. 94 with Kerry and appeared
with him at the Democratic National Convention, vividly recalled an occasion
on which Kerry and the crew chased an enemy to the Cambodian border but
did not go beyond the border. Yet Medeiros said he could not recall dropping
off special forces in Cambodia or going inside Cambodia with Kerry
|
Well. Well. One of the "on the boat brothers" is finally heard from
And his story is not exactly a stunning confirmation of Kerry's fantasies.
Methunks we should hear more backing and filling soon. Dig that hole John.
Just which river or canal did you use to chase that enemy into Cambodia
Mike? The Cua Lon, Vinh Te, Bay Hap, or Giang Thanh do not go there
... hmmm
For Roger L. Simon's take on this, read his article "The Blowhard's Lieutenant"
Deborah Orin in her article "Anti-Kerry Ad a Hit" in the New York Post also
reported the "non-confirmation" from the "on board brothers" at Wesley
Clark's news conference on Tuesday
Deborah Orin wrote: | The Democrat's team yesterday held a press conference of pro-Kerry

Inch by Inch we are getting closer to the truth.
Just finished watching Major Garrett's piece on FOX concerning Kerry's
address to the VFW and Del Sandusky's comments at Clark's news event.
At the VFW convention in Cincinnati: John Kerry boasted:
Quote: | The men who actually served on my boat
know precisely what took place in Vietnam |
The first acknowledgement by Kerry himself that "The Book" is a problem
But still using the discredited Susan Estrich defense of "not on the boat"
........................................ Bring it on! ........................................
And in the video clips of the Wesley Clark news conference, Del Sandusky
was asked about the contention that PCF-94 fled the PCF-3/Rassman scene:
Quote: | I had to clear the obstructions to let the boat behind me get out of the
way so that we could get back over to where the other boats were |
Letmesee .... All previous incantations by Kerry and Rassman were that
PCF-94 turned immediately toward the enemy while the other boats fled
Gee. That was also in the "official Navy citation" which was based solely
on John Kerry's reports concerning the incident.
So it MUST be so. Isn't that true ... all you "on the boat crewmen?"
But ... but ... Del. If you pull ahead to let the other boat get out of the
way so that you could "get back over to where the other boats were"
doesn't that support Thurlow, Odell, Pees and the other eyewitness
observations that you ran and then returned to where the other boats
were conducting a rescue operation for a mined and disabled PCF-3 ??
"Uh. Yeah. I guess so. Maybe. Could have been. Probably. Absolutely."
Now we need to get Rassmann to make up his mind about how and where
and which boat he fell off of. Maybe if we buy him some chocolate cookies
Inch by Inch

As to Hurley, there is a quote from him in a thread titled "gotcha"...something something, where he admits being a member of VNAW and marching with Kerry. Right out of his own mouth. |
