Brit Hume on Fox News just tore open the whole debate. He actually has a good reporter that is doing his homework.

Absolutely beeeeaaauutiful.

If anybody sees this posted on the web anywhere please post a link. The media here is acting like Mr. Thurlow's citation saying "under enemy fire" is breaking the case. Wouldn't you expect citations for the same action to read similar?
Further, in the heat of the moment when a mine or booby trap or other such passive explosive is detonating, would it be unreasonable for the one writing the citations to describe the situation as "under enemy fire" even though no direct enemy fire was being brought to bear?
Why doesn't John Kerry just put out this little fire with the release of his full military records? Why doesn't the media just ask him to do it and see what his answer is? What could he possibly be hiding? |
