As you may know Mr. Brinkley wrote a book of fiction called, Tour of Duty and tried to put in the non-fiction category. In fact Roy Hoffman said this book of lies, distortions, and exaggerations was the catalyst for launching this site. So maybe we owe him some thanks.

But Brinkley has been under great pressure to appear at venues to answer some of the questions Kerry will not. This move will insulate him from any tough probing questions. He will join the ranks of Chris Matthews, Tom Brokaw, Andrea Mitchell, Keith Olbermann and others who want to shut us down. In their opinion, only a selected few should have the right of free speech.

As if Douglas Brinkley needed further outting.....at least he doesn't go thru the pretension now that he works for Kerry headquarters/NBC.
