Hello All,
I tried watching all the news on Kerry firing back. I guess all publicity is good publicity. The news reporting was so biased it was kind of pathetic. Not one report has every mentioned that Kerry has not released all of his records. If George W witheld anything he would be crucified. I guess John Forbes Kerry gets a free pass on that double standard.
What really irked me about Kerry's remarks is that we are a republican funded attack machine. That could be no farther from the truth. The swifties should release their donor records and amounts, and compare that to MoveOn's donor list. You will see apples and oranges. The swifties ad's give personal testimony for John Kerry's war record which he is running on. Groups like MoveOn compare George W. to Hitler. To compare anyone to Hitler is so far out of bounds that even the extreme lefties denouced it.
I just wanted to let all the swifties know that the Dems attack machine is in full scale assault now. They are scared and they will try to smear each and everyone one you. Including YOU reading this message. Remember when you have truth on your side you will always prevail. Buy the book tell your friends and donate to this just and noble cause.

This attack just demonstrates two things, that the ad worked like a charm, and that Kerry cannot and will not debate with O'Neill directly, instead choosing to try to drag the President into his own problem.
The Pres. should just say "Senator Kerry should directly address the Swiftboat veterans making the charges against him. We will continue to stay out of this controversy, as the Pres. was not witness to Senator Kerry's actions in Vietnam." Or better, but unlikely, "we cannot ascertain who is telling the truth until Sen. Kerry authorizes the full release of his military and medical records." Period.
Just throwing the ball back. |

That would be a complete blow out of Kerry's campaign. You should really think of a career in politics. _________________ "All the Way!" |

The SWIFTs just need to stand firm. Just say we stand by the book, restate the facts and then be quiet. Dancing on the head of a pin is what gets most folks with a valid point disqualified. Especially with the video set. When you know you have victory in sight, it's time to hold the ball tighter.
The blast from NYT on their editorial page and Kerry's rant of yesterday were too convenietly timed that both parties not to know what each was doing. That's ok. People all over the place are noticing the lack of action on the part of the press to follow up on the UtC claims. Hugh Hewit is indicated that grudgingly some in the press are starting to understand that the SWIFTs are right. But the MSM is digging it's own grave. A sad state of affairs.
Guys now is the time to weather the storm. Next week will probably be more of the same. If you got the next video ready, pop it loose on the 30th. The growling will have diminished so you will have full effect of your production.
Just keep her steady and keep pushing! You're doing great!

The MSM and DNC are shameleesly working together:
From the AP article, "Kerry blasts Bush over veterans' ad"
on MSNBC:
>>>>
Knowing several news organizations, including the Post, were investigating the claims of anti-Kerry veterans, the Democratic campaign swung into action late Wednesday — rewriting the candidate’s speech to a firefighters’ union overnight, flying two of his swift boat colleagues to Boston and producing a new campaign commercial, despite earlier plans to stay off the air until September
>>>>
I think it's pretty good that it took them this long to respond. They've obviously been trying to dig up dirt on SBVT for weeks now. That's why they've been too busy to investigate the truth about Kerry |

Kerry might be forced to debate O'Neill to salvage his campaign. This would be monumental in that never in the history of our country has a presidential nominee been forced to debate a citizen on his merits to be fit for CIC. The Bush cvampaign needs to come out and state that Kerry has an issue with the Swift Vet People. Although Bush has no relation to the swifties the Kerry campaign is trying to paint it otherwise. _________________ "An activist is the person who cleans up the water, not the one claiming its dirty."

Kerry's talking points now is that the swift boat veterans are now giving up about the medals and going to the post war because of the new ad.
Rush is tearing them up now on radio |

Here's a portion of NRO analysis of Kerry's speech attacking SBVT.
"Of course, the president keeps telling people he would never question my service to our country," Kerry said to loud cheers from the audience. "Instead, he watches as a Republican-funded attack group does just that. Well, if he wants to have a debate about our service in Vietnam, here is my answer: 'Bring it on.' "
Actually, Senator, your running mate said the best way to know what kind of a man you are is to spend five minutes with the men who served with you. So the Swift Boat Vets are just helping the country know what they thought of you.
Wrong move. Wrong, wrong move. The way to refute these guys was to go on Tim Russert, or Forrest Sawyer, or George Stephanopolous and George Will, or some other top-level tough interviewer, release every form in the Navy archives, and lay everything on the table. Kerry ought to come out and say he understands why some of these man hate him. He said the war they bled in wasn’t worth fighting, a hard message to hear. Kerry should say that if he were in their shoes, he might hate a war protestor too. But we can’t let our present positions interfere with our memories of the past, and the evidence to support Kerry’s wartime accounts is… X, Y, and Z.
Of course, this assumes X, Y, and Z. And I guess this strategy doesn’t work if Kerry really is the cretin that “Unfit for Command” portrays him, and much of his wartime exploits are exaggerated, and his entire war hero reputation is a house of cards. |
