The sheer vitriole and hatred that is spewed there is amazing. Imagine thousands of Lanny Davises and James Carvilles exchanging messages and you get the idea.

The racist and bigotted comments about Michelle Malkin are unbelievable. I'm sure that Ann Coulter draws the same fire.

President Bush is referred to as the chimp or the shrub or various other ugly names we've all heard, and all the baseless accusations float like confetti.

The contrast to the discussions that appear here is marked. That's not to say that there aren't a few cheap shots here and there, but the discussions here are on a much higher plane than those on DU.

You'll need a shower after reading a few threads, but I think it's important that everyone here realize what the other side is like.

I visited once, and left.

They seemed very young and honestly seemed more interested

in being on the winning team than even doing any research.

I have no idea why this seems to be the case.

Perhaps they are a younger group as a whole, I don't know.

They expect rich white guys like Rush Limbaugh to be racist and homophobic and every other bad word you can think of. but when a person of color, ESPECIALLY A FEMALE does it, their true nature is shown.

Those who constantly accuse the conservative right of being bigoted, sexist and mean will then declare open season on people like Michelle and make some of the most hateful, spiteful, pornographic, chauvanistic taunts imaginable.

Michelle has more class in her little finger than these people have in their whole bodies.
