On CNN yesterday, Wolf Blitzer was talking to a Dem spokesman.

Obviously paraphrased, but this was the general gist:
>>>>>
DEM: It's been proven that Bush is behind these Swift boat veterans.
NY Times. Web of Connections.Web of Connections.Web of Connections.
Lies. Smear. Illegal. blah blah blah..

WOLF: Where's the hard evidence?

DEM: It was in the NY Times. Proof.
Web of Connections.Web of Connections.Web of Connections.
Charts. Graphs. Karl Rove. Rich Texas Republicans.
blah blah blah..

WOLF: I read that article, but there is no real proof of wrongdoing.
Where's the hard evidence?

DEM: (incredulously) It was in the NY Times.
Web of Connections.Web of Connections.Web of Connections.
Charts. Graphs. Karl Rove. Rich Texas Republicans.
It's so obvious anybody can see it.
blah blah blah..

WOLF: Well, why aren't the Dems taking them to court?

DEM: Well..... that would take affidavits, depositions....
Web of Connections.Web of Connections.Web of Connections.
Charts. Graphs. Karl Rove. Rich Texas Republicans.
blah blah blah..

WOLF: If Karl Rove is connected, that's definitely illegal.
Why aren't the Dems taking them to court?

DEM: It was in the NY Times.
Web of Connections.Web of Connections.Web of Connections.
Charts. Graphs. Karl Rove. Rich Texas Republicans.
It's so obvious anybody can see it.
blah blah blah..blah blah blah..blah blah blah..
Web of Connections.
>>>>>>>>

I can't stand when Dems trot out the "It was in the NY Times,Washington Post" line as if this means it's Gospel Truth.
It's done all the time on the Sunday morning shows. The host confronts a Republican with "A NY Time's article this week states....."
The Right is too polite. They should just say that the paper is a liberal communist lying rag.
The closest it comes to the truth is spewing innuendo.
Dems call it the 'Paper of Record'.

Yes, Virginia, there is a Santa Claus.
If you see it in The NY Times, it's so.
Santa Claus was in Cambodia.
Yes, I know in the poem it's The NY Sun, but same idea.

Rant over.

I suspect the Sunday shows are going to be interesting this week. They will try to kill the effort or smear them and yes, they will use the Democrat Front Group NYTs article as ammo. Their ammo is going to fizzle though.

The Dem's condescending attitudes regarding the intelligence and gullibility of the "proletariat" is starting to cost them big time.

Hopefully, even people who don't like Bush, can see the bias of the media on this story. If they see it here then they need to question all the news over the past years about Bush and the war, abortion, sexual issues etc.

producehawk,

Well, if you believe the moonbats on DU, the media is biased to the right, and they're complaining about CNN and MSNBC being right-leaning.

Relative to DUmmies, I guess CNN and MSNBC are a bit to the right.

Objective people such as ourselves Wink however can readily discern the bias by comparing the swiftvets story to the Bush AWOL story. The MSM was all over AWOL and they were not attacking the messenger, they were looking into the charge.

Geez, if 250 plus vets signed a letter and affadavit attesting to Bush lying about his military record....Bush would not have lasted a week. The MSM would have immediately mugged him.

It's that kind of ad that builds credence for the SBVT. They can't show anyt kind of funding connection with the Bush administration, but somehow the accusation by itself is to be enough. The President and his people could very easily have made those accusations of kerry in relation to the moore and soros tens of millions of dollars worth of unsubstantiated un proven accusations the past couple years, but they didn't. They let it slide, even though it could have been taken to court because none of it was provable and there was no first hand coroboration. kerry on the other hand cries like a stuck pig, making all kinds of empty threats. If the SBVT, made largely of life long Democrats by the way, was full of lies and all that, kerry would have had them in court months ago, and this site, those ads, and the book would have never happened. That's a fact. kerry knows it's all true so all he can do is have his lapdog cronies threaten and try to smear and discredit vets with REAL honorable combat time, more than a few weeks, and then him personally not directly address it or specifically speak out and disprove the accusations, and deliberately refuse to do the one thing that would put all this to rest IF he was telling the truth. RELEASE HIS FULL AND COMPLETE MILITARY RECORDS! Which the DOD has confirmed they have but they cannot release them without mr. kerry's authorization. That says it all. kerry is a toothless tiger, and this whole mess is a monster of his own making. He shouldn't have stirred the pot if he didn't want to risk wearing the contents.

Know truth, no kerry.
