|
|
At a fundraiser on Saturday night, attended by about 750 people, Kerry said the attacks by a group of Vietnam veterans and former Swift Boat commanders have intensified "because in the last months they have seen me climbing in America's understanding that I know how to fight a smarter and more effective war" against terrorists. That's why they're attacking my credibility. That's why they've personally gone after me."
Does anybody really believe this dribble?
For one thing, does anyone really know the difference between Kerry's idea on how to fight the war against terrorists and that of the President's?
The Swift Boat Veterans have stated again, and again, this is not about politics, it's about Honor. It's about honor over three basic points: One, Kerry, himself, has asked voters to judge him on his actions during the four months he spent in Viet Nam during his last tour of duty.
Two, Kerry threw his medals back not only into OUR country's face, but into the faces of all Viet Nam vets, so he is no longer entitled to claim them now as proof of his character to become President. If he now says he threw another man's decorations over the fence while pretending they were his own, it simply reinforces Kerry's total lack of character, ethics, and integrity.
And three, Kerry gave the NVA for free what dozens of POWs endured torture to refuse giving up: the HONOR of our Country, by admitting to the lie that our Armed Forces had committed war crimes. These are the attributes of John Kerry's character the Swift Boats Veterans for Truth are being crucified for bringing forward today by the very man who have asked us to judge him on those attributes.
So I understand now why Kerry wants to try and turn the debate from the character he exposed to all during his four months in Viet Nam to his present policy of fighting a better, smarter war against terrorists...whatever that is. It's just another diversion from a man trying to defend a lie...John Kerry's lie -- that's he's fit to hold the office of the presidency of the United States.

Umm . . . by flip-flopping, leaving everyone to guess what he really plans to do about the terrorists? What a dooze. |

John Kerry....laugh fest ad infinitum!
Actually, Kerry would have made a good guest on Laugh-in, popping his head out of the "the wall" and saying his usual stupid stuff.
Then Ruth Buzzi could hit him over the head with her purse.. _________________ "And no pair has been more wrong, more loudly, more often, than the two Senators from Massachusetts, Ted Kennedy and John Kerry"

John Kerry's plan is to send Sandy Berger into Afghan caves and smuggle out sensitive documents. |

David Farrar
The difference between Kerry & Bush on how to fight terrorism.
Kerry will: slash defense spending , I've heard approx.$200B/5-10yrs
cut all the intellligence budgets
pull our troops out of the Middle East & Afghanistan
The sickening part beyond the points above is that we always have units deployed some where. They will be under-funded and ill-equiped and demoralized.
Clinton & Carter all over again but worse. |

No doubt. I think there is more to the Berger story than we've been told. I think he was trying to coverup for Richard Clarke, who I think was persuaded by the Kerry campaign to bash Bush. Supposedly, in his earlier private testimony he bashed Clinton, not Bush....then all of a sudden changed his story... |

What an embarrassment Kerry is to this country. I cant believe that the Democrats really felt that Kerry was thier best chance against Bush. Dean may not of had much of a chance, but at least he didnt lie and decieve to try and gain the presidency. _________________ Dragoro's Realm

and now they are stuck with him! Sweet justice for picking someone -- "ANYONE but Bush" -- irresponsible choice of candidate. NO PASS from the silent majority on this one, thanks to the lead of the Swiftees!! |
