I'm sure you've all seen Kerry's new ad. It's interesting the points he's trying to make:
1. President Bush is actually behind all of this. It's a President Bush smear campaign
2. The Swift Boat vets are actually being funded by President Bush and his campaign.
3. President Bush didn't serve his country honorably as a Reservist, let's debate and compare service records.
Notice a theme here? Let's break it down a little further:
1. Let's point the finger at President Bush, who has already said he is not involved with the advertisements from the Swift Boat Vets. Apparently it is ok for Michael Moore and the other 527 people from moveon.org to be at the Democratic convention (Sitting with some of the top people in the democratic party no less!), but a single flyer makes it into a Bush Campaign spot for Swift Boat Vets and this is now ILLEGAL??? wtf?
2. Apparently there's tons of money pouring in from President Bush and his campaign to fund the Swift Boat Vets even though there is NO proof of this at all.
3. John Kerry served for 4 months (FOUR MONTHS), yes 4 months, and he wants to claim himself a war hero and say that all Reservists are slackers??? How dare he make this claim.
So, to sum up, John Kerry is:
1. BLAMING SOMEONE ELSE
2. BLURTING OUT FACTS THAT ARE NOT TRUE
3. DEMONIZING SOMEONE'S SERVICE TO THEIR COUNTRY
hmm.....Sounds familiar.....In fact this is EXACTLY what he did so many years ago when he returned from Vietnam. His actions speak for themselves, and he once again confirms that he is NOT the right candidate for Presidency. He hates veterans, he hates the military and he will take down anyone who gets in the way of his Liberal Agenda to destroy the heart of this country.

I thought the rough history of contributions (I think it was on Meet the Press, this Sunday morning) given to SBVFT by Mr. O'Neill since the first commercial was about all that needed to be said to rebut that. |

Flying the f-102 wasn't the safest plane to fly....and I remember reading where President Bush put in for Vietnam but was turned down because they
were phasing it out...and that is why he did not fly his last year in the Guard.
Correct me if I am wrong.... |

Four people from his unit volunteered to go to Vietnam and GWB was one of them - they were still flying F102's over there. But, the two people with the most flight hours were chosen.
You are correct - the F102's had the reputation for flying like refrigerators under the wrong circumstances. Very difficult-to-manage aircraft.
I really like the points in the first post:

Right on! It's not just the fashions that have returned to the 70's! _________________ ~ Echo Juliet ~
