I am the daughter of a Vietnam Veteran who has long been proud of my father's service. In that light, I offer my heartfelt thanks to each of you men who fought for our country then and who continue to fight for it now. While I acknowledge that Mr. Kerry did serve, he did so dishonorably, and as the evidence shows, with an escape plan firmly in place. This is not the man I want to lead the country as my children grow. Each of you honorable veterans who are part of this effort for the truth are in my prayers. Stand tall and proud, and again, thank you.
