Yahoo news is reporting Bob Dole has said that he also questions Kerry's Purple Hearts. Three "Hearts" and no bleeding from his "wounds", no loss of duty time, etc. etc. Also Dole said what does Kerry expect, he came back in 1971 and made accusations about his fellow vets that were lies and untruths, and now he wants to run on his record as a Viet Nam War Hero. As you know Dole is a decorated WWII vet, I have the upmost respect for Dole and WWII vets in general. If this doesn't break open the flood gates and allow the Veterans of the United States military to see Kerry as he is nothing will.

Sen. Dole is well respected in both parties and is a mainstream politician. The important thing is that he is one of the first of the WWII vets to speakup. I believe the firestorm is just beginning- the PR walls are crumbling around Kerry. On Scarborough right now, you can see the look of fear on his advisors. Soon the american public will start to see what Vietnam vets have known since 1971.

Rolling Eyes Oddly, it takes a celebrated person to get Americans to wake up to what's going on. The Swift Boat Vets have been running ads for weeks and taking flak for it. Now Senator Bob Dole steps up and the American people began to pay attention. It's great that he joined in but I don't understand why people didn't simply believe the Swifties who are Vietnam Veterans. Confused
