The Columnist you enjoy most and anxiously await every column.
Mine is Victor Davis Hanson of National Review.

I have a lot of "favorites," so I can't really pick one.
For entertainment and a predictable great laugh, I'd have to say Ann Coulter. Pure acid.
Jonah Goldberg, National Review
Mark Steyn
Mark Alexander, The Federalist online
Bill Bennett, though I don't think he has an actual column. I believe he appears more as a guest commentator than as an actual columnist.
Thomas Sowell, although he occasionally irritates me with what I perceive as twists to the left. His First Amendment right.
Gosh, there are probably a dozen others who are all top rung. _________________ R.E. Gleason, YN2

Mine are Mark Steyn and Neal Cavuto on Fox. They are very different.
Mark is exceptional, his columns are always spot on and sometimes seem
even cruel if it is your country he is making noises about, but he does
know his stuff. (All over the place)
Neal is the a kinder, thoughtful type of writer, he is always positive, no
wait, he had a very strong one recently. But, overall, he is the one I go
to find the good in life as he always sees it out there, no matter what.
He is delightful to read. (Fox and Townhall.com) _________________ Swiftvets rock! |

It's also a pleasure to watch him bat Juan Williams around Sundays. _________________ A willing tool of the "Vast Right Wing Conspiracy" since 1981. |

Dave Barry
I forgot this guy is actually a columnist!
his web page "bio":
Humor columnist Dave Barry has been based with the Miami Herald since 1983. He won the Pulitzer Prize for commentary in 1988. Barry writes every Saturday in the Daily News about various major issues relating to the international economy, the future of democracy, the infrastructure and exploding toilets. By the way, Dave doesn't use email.
This weeks first sentence:
Fifty years ago, it was 1954. (Research is the heart of journalism.) |
