1. Kerry wrote the offical record. Can't anyone figure that out? Kerry's biographer - Brinkley is biased and I think is now working for NBC somehow. Can't get any info from him because he and Kerry hav exclusive contract.
2. Kerry brought this on himself. His arrogance in taking the pictures of himself in uniform, etc. His fixation in trying to be JFK. Did you know he dated one of Jackie's cousin?
3. O'Neil and Kerry have been featured on C-span, their debate on the Dick Cavett show has been on several times. O'Neill's feeling go back to Kerry's "heresay" testimony in front of Congress. Which is another issue. Isn't this really perjured testimony? One person said that because Kerry shot a young boy in the back, that he decided to include everyone in his guilt of not following orders.
4. The Swift Boat vets kept their anger under wraps until the Brinkley book. They learned about Kerry's exagerations.
5. Why did Kerry think he could pull this off? The same reason as Clinton. Because he could. With Kool-Aid drinkers who aren't able to think. How can the Democrats claim linkage when their biggest 521 member, Michael Moore was a great spot beside Jimmy Carter? |
