The extended "Scarborough Country" on Sunday was solid Swiftvets
The first part with Democratic attack dog Michael Mehan versus Bush
stategist Jennifer Millerwise was predictably forgetable. Mehan spouting
current talking points and evading any questions on specifics. Like other
Bush campaign spokespersons, Jennifer could only deny association and
point out the obvious links of the Kerry campaign to the $62M spending by
all the Kerry sympathetic "527" organizations.
But the really refreshing later segment had Dem Stategest Steve McMahon
and MSNBC Political Analyst Flavia Colgan opposite author Hugh Hewitt and
Scripps Howard Reporter Deroy Murdock.
Again, McMahon was all "missing in Alabama, smear Republican ties." And
not surprising, Flavia just "flayed away" as if she was getting paid by the
Democrats and not just the cable network of Chris Matthews.
But with the help of Joe Scarborough, both Deroy and Hugh let go with all
guns firing exactly on the telling points that are all over the internet: The
detraction and misdirection on the "magic hat" and "gun running" across
the Cambodian border, the Purple Hearts, debunking "not on the boat,"
siting the favorables in Rood's article and asking for Kerry to sign the
Form 180 to allow access to all his military records. It was pointed out
that when WaPo asked for Navy documentation as part of their excellent
Sunday article on the March 13 incident, only 9 out of 100 were allowed
because Kerry refused to release them.
Even Joe asked the telling question: "Why have Kerry's crewmembers
not come out to defend him on TV?" .... outstanding observation Joe!!
I especially like the way that Deroy Murdock ended the show. Joe had asked
what Kerry needed to do to stop the bleeding. Deroy held up a copy of the
book and the Form 180 and calmly stated that this firestorm will continue
until Kerry himself signs the form and addresses the specifics!
Inch by Inch .... the truth is begining to come out

Saw the show, it was great. Flavia and the other kerry hack were ridiculous. They have no case, all they could do is say bush lied about WMD's _________________ "And no pair has been more wrong, more loudly, more often, than the two Senators from Massachusetts, Ted Kennedy and John Kerry"

Mr Hewitt talks about this in some depth. I like this quote the best.
Quote: |
The debate went on for nearly 45 minutes, and Deroy Murdock and I had a field day with the Demo talking heads, who were out of ammunition, as the entire Kerry campaign seems to be. Joe S. runs a fair show, so in a situation where Kerry is in a meltdown and reduced to making wild charges about collusion between the Swift Vets and Bush-Cheney while trying to avoid discussing Camboida, well, it isn't that hard to look and sound pretty good.

It is a typical Kerry situation when any point is brought forward that they fall back on the WMD claims. How many heads of countries, generals, and intelligence experts also made these claims? John Kerry if he ever showed up could have had access to the same intelligence reports as the entire committee, but he had more important things to do than act in OUR best interests. American Soldier explains to a degree what actually happened, no head of state in their right mind would have acted differently. |

Didn't even Kerry himself say (now) that knowing everything he knows now, he would have done the same thing?... Or did he flip-flop again?

Last week they were saying that they did not accuse Bush of being a liar. Now they are out and out calling him a liar, on WMD's and his service. When is some one from the reserves going to stand up and ask kerry to quit spitting on them? |

Sounds like that was an excellent show. I didn't see it so it was nice getting to read the play by play. It is funny how the kerryites can never explain the accusations by SBVT, all they can do is go to the lame mccauliffe talking point about Bush lied about wmd, and where was he in Alabama.
The problem with that is, john kerry had the same info on iraq two years ago that Bush had, and kerry is on the record saying that "hussein's wmd programs scare him and he needs to be dealt with". That needs to be a Bush ad right there. Plus the fact that tons of banned weapons materials of all kinds have been found in iraq, photographed, cateloged, and transported out of the U.S. and presented to the U.N. and the House and Senate, but the media refuses to carry it. And Mr. Udall, who was Bush's flight instructor in Alabama has said numerous times that he's positive Bush was there the whole time, because he'd remember an awol pilot in war time, and there were none. He also said that Bush requested a transfer to a F-102 squadron that would be transferred to combat duty in Vietnam, but he was too young at that point and didn't have enough flight time to qualify for a combat posting. He was only 23 at the time and as any pilot knows, it takes a year for post graduate flight training after getting your commission out of college, plus typically another year or two to get enough flight hours under your belt to be sent to a combat zone. Very green pilots are not sent to war zones. Plus, by 73, force reduction was in place, and I would be surprised if any new fighter wings were being sent to Vietnam. Especially ones with pilots who had no combat experience. But I digress. I just get sick of the fact that these truths are NEVER given air for the public to see and hear, so the democrat lies can continue to abound on them. |
