The nation, in an article by Bob Ellis, democrat strategist, questioned in 1996 Bob Doles first Purple Heart, accusing him of getting it for a self inflicted wound. It was proven to be a false claim, and given the nature of Senator Doles sacrifice for this country it was a slimy accusation anyway. But this is proof that the democrats in the past have had NO compunctions about questioning Purple Hearts from a vet. Even a badly disabled one like Senator Dole. But somehow those self same people like kerry, don't think it's right to question his record or his medals, especailly since he has NO DISABILITY or any kind of permenant condition from his supposed "wounds". Wham! Another nail in kerry's couffin.
