>>According to Francis Harris in Saturday's Telegraph, allegations that John Kerry "lied about his Vietnam record" are "unravelling". Oh, I wouldn't say that. Right now, it looks like the sanity of the Kerry campaign and its pals in the media that's beginning to unravel.
Switch on the TV these days and you'll see John O'Neill, principal spokesman for the hundreds of Swift boat veterans who oppose their old comrade Kerry, talking calmly and patiently about the facts, citing chapter and verse and relevant footnotes, while some deranged interviewer is going berserk.<< |

Mark Steyn said the word I am sure we are all thinking of in respect to
Kerry, stupid. I really believe he lives in another reality, he has no
idea how he looks when he does all the sport picture so he can look
tough. He never stops making stupid errors, and it is always when his
mouth opens and his brain is not attached.
If someone took the time to find all the stupid things he has said from
the first of the campaign, with him opening his mouth just long enough
to put the other foot in it, they would see he just is not smart.
What he is, isa conniver, he does not have the courage to out and out
lie, he manipulates the story, he makes it something the person or
persons want to hear. Connivers are smart in that way, but we all
see it eventually.
Mark said it all right as he usually does, One of my favorite columnists.

Mine, too. I think he is one of the best. I wish Michael Kelly was still around right now. I'm sure he would just be creaming Kerry. |
