My apologies if this has been done before, but IMHO it cannot be said enough.

I want to let all the veterans (Vietnam and others also) out there know that you are appreciated. I want to say that I appreciate you and respect your sacrifices.

It's not just that you've fought to protect freedom in general, but also that you've fought and sacrificed to protect my freedom. That makes it extremely personal.

When I think of America, I think of the greatest country on the face of this earth. We have more freedoms and rights than any citizens in any other country out there. And that freedom was bought and paid for with the blood that has been shed.

I want to say "Thank you". Thank you for making it possible for me to live in a free country.

My father was in the Navy during WWII. (He and my mom married later in life, I was born in 1971.) Although my father was never injured in combat, he did lose some dear friends when his ship was torpedoed. I've seen my father get choked up when talking about the friends he lost during WWII.

For Kerry to say and do the things he's said and done concerning our veterans isn't just shameful and disgusting, it should be criminal.

I cannot say this enough: Thank you. Thank you. Thank you.

Thank you for your sacrifices. There is no way I could possibly repay you for what you've done for me.

God bless our veterans. God bless America.
