I absolutely despise it when these talking heads say "Swift Boat Veterans FOR BUSH". They so obviously do it on purpose to mislead people, and it is REALLY beginning to piss me off |

Are you a registered Democrat?
I never got one ... I'm registered "unaffiliated".
I'd really like to get this letter, to forward to my newspapers.
With a polite response attached. |

Per the Hurley letter; Quote: | The crewmates who served with John Kerry stand with him.
Swift Boat Veterans for Bush did not serve with John Kerry in Vietnam |
So.....Kerry didn't serve with me but says I'm a criminal. In fact...I think the Swifties were a lot closer to Kerry then he was to me. I also realize that I spent more time in the hospital from my PH then all the time he spent in Nam. Go figure.
Here is a great cartoon from I believe the San Diego paper. Hope it works.

I will say it again.
WE NEED OUR OWN TALKING POINTS!
The bad guys have them. We do not. They have an advantage because their talking point call show callers and letter writers keep on theme and message. Ours do not. _________________ Whose side is John Kerry really on? Take this quiz and decide for yourself.

Herb has started a talking points thread - it may be a couple of pages back.
We also have the sticky topics at the top of the Research and Resources forum, including transcripts of interviews, collection of links and a budding FAQ.
Please feel free to find these topics and keep adding to them! Consolidate! _________________ ~ Echo Juliet ~

Hurley was in an engineering battalion in Vietnam and actually claimed that his own engineering battalion, in the book Tour of Duty, engaged in atrocities. He was hunted down by Tom Purdue (sp?) from that same engineering battalion and admitted that they had not engaged in atrocities, apologized to Purdue, and these words about atrocities are supposed to be removed from the next version of Kerry’s book Tour.
I don't understand how Sen. Kerry can have Hurley as a front man. _________________ U.S.M.C. - 1969-1971

Dear Mr. Hurley,
Are the memories of the respective people you've listed in your points above seared-seared into their brains?
In another post, I mentioned that Hurley is on record supporting John Kerry's 1971 charges in their entirely - i.e., that the U.S. military and Vietnam soldiers were all war criminals, committing atrocities with the full awareness of the highest level of command ( http://www2.swiftvets.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=4903 ).
Kerry will never change. Always the anti-American, unapologetic leftist.

Isn't it funny how the MSM never asks who henchman Hurley is?
The "group" he "represents" is just the Kerry Campaign's veteran outreach division...they aren't an independent organization like the SBVfT. Until they removed it recently, "their" website clearly stated so and linked right to Kerry'c Campaign website.
Maybe that's why they're having trouble wrapping their tiny minds around the fact that the SBVfT represent themselves and aren't shilling for a candidate.
"Paid for by Kerry-Edwards 2004, Inc.", indeed. |

I like the cartoon and have now saved it.
BTW, why does no one ever mention that McCain condemned the book without ever reading it and called the Swiftvets dishonest with no possible way of knowing what the truth is? |

I have been asking that question for quite a while, and posed it to McCain himself (no reply). He has never spoken with any of the Swifties either before coming to his unwarranted and unfair conclusions. _________________ Everytime he had a choice, Kerry chose to side with communists rather than the United States. |
