Hello,

Which website is the correct website for making online contributions? I'm concerned that website #2 is bogus, created and publicized to "phish" (i.e. steal) away contributions. Website #2 looks identical to Website #1 except for the URL

website #1 (legitimate?)
https://www.swiftvets.com/swift/ccdonation.php?op=donate&site=SwiftVets

website #2 (NOT-legitimate?)
https://swift1.he.net/~swiftvet/swift/ccdonation.php?op=donate&site=SwiftVets%22

Website #2 keeps getting posted over at Jim Robinson's FreeRepublic. My concern is that pro-Kerry types might post bogus contribution links to lure away contributions and/or to convince people they have already made a contribution.

QUESTION: Are there multiple authorized websites endorsed and/or authorized to receive contributions on behalf of Swift Boat Veterans for Truth??? If so then what are those websites (please include the complete URL address)

SUGGESTION: Create a Adobe PDF document that can be emailed to people that contribute (name, service details, etc) that would similar in spirit to an Equator Crossing Certificate, call it the "St Patrick's Day in Cambodia" certificate.

Regards,

rm3friskerFTN

P.S. "rm3frisker" is a navy nuke (rickover) joke
and "FTN" really does mean "Free The Nukes" WinkWinkWink

No, not a phisher - it's a separate server, hence the difference in the URL's. Both are heavily secured.

Thanks for watching, though - always bring stuff like this to our attention. Thank you! Smile
