Itīs my understanding the press conference (4 May) held by
the Swift Boat Vets was not covered by the AP. Also,
I heard ABC and NBC did not cover it on their evening
news broadcasts. Additionally, CBS did a smear job
on many veterans who were there (Dan Rather strikes
again). CNN and Fox did cover it, but in different ways.
Does anyone have any more info on the press
conference and what this group plans to do between now
and November ?

| see my post for audio link to their press conf -- the a.p has not covered these guys -- they declared that it did not add anything to the story of viet vets against kerry. |

Something tells me, now that you've been outed in the media as another smear operation by the people who slandered McCain in 2000 and coached Starr in 1998, you won't be getting many offers. But by all means sit by the phone. |

I'm sure you'll be hearing from them and many more outraged veterans before too long. Actually if you do some news research, they're making quite a ripple already.
