After his claims of he was just here to learn and dialogue and other nonsense yesterday, I open my PMs and found this little jewel;

Subject: Failure
We did not stop the spread of anything. We damaged the image of the US, got 58,000 guys killed, and got our asses kicked out. So, I would say yes, it was a bad idea. Just like this debacle in Iraq, which is rapidly approaching 1000 dead. 818 as of today.
You hatred fur Kerry is blinding you to the atrocities of Bush. |

Correct, Vietnam fell to Communism as planned by the leftists. Shortly after, so did others, proving the domino theory. However, by engaging in a policy of standing up to Communism, it eventually did fall by the wayside when the former Soviet Union did collapse, only to be resurrected in the guise of Liberal Socialists within our very own country.

Correct again. The Liberal whiners protesting the war showed everyone that America didn't have the stomach to fight and would tuck tail and run, leading China to label us as "Paper Tigers."
Quote: | got 58,000 guys killed |
Had the Liberal Pussies stayed out of it, Giap would most likely have negotiated a surrender in 1968, I would imagine along the lines of North and South Korea. At the time, American deaths were less than 15,000. So yes, the left did manage to get some 40,000 of our guys killed over there.

Wrong a mundo. I left with my head held high, as did every other guy I know that served there. The embarrassment came when we refused to help South Vietnam when North Vietnam violated the ceasefire agreement and marched right down to Saigon. The left sure showed the world how much they could count on America then.

Of course you would. Liberal elitists, for some reason, hate the idea of people being free to choose for themselves. However, I would imagine a few million boat people and a few million more Cambodians, Laotians and the Montegnards felt a lot different.

The only debacle about it is the lefts incessant undermining and misrepresentaion of it for political gain. At times, to me anyways, it borders on treason.

Everytime I hear of another death, it hurts. However, I also feel pride in that these young people have the devotion to duty and honor that so escapes you leftist elitists. As far as wars go, that is relatively few deaths. The opening shot of this war cost us just under 3,000 innocent civilians, in one morning. One kamikaze attack in the pacific during WW2 cost more lives than that also, on one ship! The attack on Pearl Harbor left more than double that number dead as well, in a single morning.

I didn't know Kerry had any fur. You been peeking?
However, I don't hate Kerry, I despise the lowlife *******. Just as he spit on all of us, figuratively of course, I'd love to land a great big hocker right between his eyes. If you want a list of atrocities, look no further than your butt buddy, John "F"in Kerry and his lying "testimony" of 1971 to Congress.
Don't bother sending me any more PMs, either. You are a troll sent here to disrupt the board and try to ridicule decent honorable men and women. You and Kerry don't have an ounce of decency between you and have to resort to subterfuge to try and make it appear as if you are interested and caring people. Shades of another Bolsheveik Revolution led by you Socialist Liberal Elite. |
