Kerry was "injured" on March 13th, 1969 and that appears to have been his last mission. What happened with the PCF 94 crew after Kerry went back home?

Did Kerry somehow ensure their cooperation by getting them reassigned to "safer" duty? I have always wondered why they stick up for Kerry so after just 45 days or so of shared combat experience. Perhaps others might know how common it was for all members of a crew to receive medals like PCF 94 did for the Feb. 28th incident.

What is it that binds them so to Kerry? Something about the 94 crew and the discussion of possible medals before the Feb. 28th engagement has bothered me for a week now. Anyone have an insights?

JOURNEY OF A THOUSAND MILES BEGINS WITH A SINGLE STEP.

The info you seek is scattered throught the threads.

The short answer is yes. One of the crewman quoted kerry as saying he was going to get them safer duty..... I think that tidbit was in a Boston Globe article, about the DNC conv reunion.
Looking at the crew assignments for the boat, it appears that the remaining crew did indeed leave the swifts.

well, when even the DNC can see it,,,,, then kerry is toast.
