[Note: I also posted this in the WinterSoldier forum, but that seems to be kind-of sluggish today...]

Don't know if this tidbit is useful, but CinC SAFVet was a student at the Univ. of Hawaii in the fall of 1969 and strongly remembers seeing Kerry at an anti-war event at the UofHI on Oahu in the late fall of 1969. The star of the show was Peter Fonda, and Hanoi Jane was there also. Kerry was present, but she doesn't remember him speaking.

What is interesting about this to me is that Kerry was not relieved of active duty until 3 Jan 70, per UFC. Could he have been in violation of all kinds of regs and UCMJ articles by doing this? Even if he was on terminal leave, he was still an active duty officer.
