A terse observation from Ed Gillespie, RNC Chairman. It's hard to believe these people were running this country for so long. 9/11 and the war on terrorist organizations has really caused the true colors of the Left to come out:
Yesterday, at the “Take Back America Conference” for liberal activists, Democratic Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton introduced George Soros with effusive praise.
Then in his remarks Mr. Soros--the billionaire supporter of John Kerry and MoveOn.org--equated the attacks of September 11 to the Abu Ghraib prison abuse and went on to say, “The war on terror has taken more innocent victims than the terrorist attacks of Sept. 11, 2001.”
Unbelievable.
Abu Ghraib was bad and the soldiers involved are rightly being punished, but for Democrats to say that the abuse of Iraqi fighters is the moral equivalent of the slaughter of 3,000 innocent Americans is outrageous. |

Equating what happened at Abu Ghraib with what happened at the World Trade Center on 9/11 shows (or more correctly, is yet another example of) the godless, amoral recklessness of the Left.
In fact, when Osama Bin Laden accuses the West of decadence, idolatry and moral turpitude, he is correct when referring to the Western Left.
Do we want people with this type of psychopathology in positions of authority in this country? This is what the upcoming election will decide.

Yeah, this new campaign finance regulation is going really well, huh?
A committed socialist millionaire (how's that for schizophrenia?) trying to buy an election.
And the FEC doesn't seem to be in any hurry to enforce these campaign finance laws, either.
Hard to have a fair election when only the Republicans are playing by the rules.
I'll bet we win, anyway.
