I am sure many of you watched Chris Matthews show last night. He interviewed someone who had been researching through Navy records and came up with information that "he said" affirmed Kerry's statements that he was under fire. Also another segment Chris mentioned was the Cambodia incident with O'neill talking to Nixon. With this awful snear on his face "Matthews claimed that the interview proved that o'neill was a liar. He was sooo joyful I was waiting for him to get up and do a little dance around his desk.

I don't watch hard balls any more. Chris is just plain lame. But at least he has convictions, unlike oriely

How would Little Chrissy know anything? He never let O'Neill speak, and likely won't in the future (if O'Neill were ever to lower himself to go on that show again). I imagine that O'Neill's statement on that matter was not necessary for Matthews to form his opinion......

Matthews only interviews himself, or so it seems.

If I remember right, that was John Fund.
He said "the official documents that Kerry has allowed to be public would tend to support his claim".
He also pointed out that "not all documents are available".

Chrissy Matthews clearly heard the first part.
He didn't recognize the second part.
I think a lot of viewers did.

Mathews screams and yells never letting the other side say what they want to. He tries to put words in their mouth and later claims that is their position. Of course the 'Official' records are on Kerry's side, he created, altered and promoted them, except of course for the ones he keeps hidden.

I've never watched "Hardball." I've watched "Saturday Night Live" parody of "Hardball." Mathews is a pseudo-intellectual -- that's why he screams. "Hardball" is a prime example of how cable news is equivalent to Jerry Springer's talk show.
