Last night (Aug 26) Hannity had a guest, Bill Bennett, who quoted a 2002 Kerry interview where Kerry said he thought "it would be good to both fight in Vietnam and protest it". That sounds like Kerry volunteered to serve his own political career and not his country! Has anyone noticed how much film footage there is of Kerry in Vietnam? Did he have a camerman following him around just to get film for his future poliotical career?

This is my first post here. I'm so steamed I had to post something!

Welcome aboard, Brenda. John Kerry, believe it or not, carried a home movie camera with him during his duty on Swift Boats, and even re-enacted some of his "expoits" for the camera.

Some of the other Swifties at the time apparently joked that he didn't leave Vietnam because of the three purple hearts; he left because he had enough footage!

I wonder if that interview with that quote is available anywhere. can you imagine the response if that were made public?

Here is Broder's recollection of it....too bad it isn't on tape somewhere.

The Bill Bennett transcript will be probably posted at Hannity's website. Bennett mentioned the exact source of the comment.
