"WE" Americans truly see the obvious and blantant hipocracy. Especially when it comes to the infamous "527's".

Just look at the current days Polls!!! (cited below)

Way: Bush 46.3, Kerry 44.8, Nader 3.3
Head-to-Head: Bush 47.5, Kerry 46.0
Bush JA: 50.2 Approve/46.6 Disapprove
National Polls:
NBC/WSJ: Bush 47, Kerry 45, Nader 3
Gallup: Bush 48, Kerry 46, Nader 4
FOX News: Kerry 44, Bush 43, Nader 3
LA Times: Bush 47, Kerry 44, Nader 3
Rasmussen (8/26): Bush 47, Kerry 46

The Democrats are surely "imploding" , with actions of desperation and hysteria. So many of them are desperately in need of THERAPY.

Some say the poll news is to show the impact of the Swifties.

However, my acknowledgement of the vast left-wing MSM conspiracy tells me that the media is trying to minimize any convention bounce for next week.

Never underestimate the scheming and slanting of the MSM

jataylor, you have a good point.

One of the strategies during the DNC convention was to "manage expectations." When their internal polling indicated that Kerry wasn't going to get the traditional 10-15 point bounce out of the convention, the campaign went into damage control mode.

The campaign started dropping hints that they didn't expect a bounce at all so that when they got a few points, they could claim that Kerry had done better than expected. That's exactly what they did.

Now, their tactic is to manage expectations for the RNC convention - to have people expecting huge gains so that when there is only a few points in the pop, they can point their fingers and say, "Woohoo - only six points! This is a war time President, he should have gotten 20!"

I think that given how polarized the nation is at this time - any bounce after the convention is good. Even if it is a 1-2 % bounce I will be satisfied. The fact of the matter is that the majority of the people have already made up their mind right now, and there will certainly be those undecideds or leaning democrats/republicans who may come over at the last minute ( thanks to the swiftvets ). As long as the president holds a consistent lead in the states he won in 2000 and in the battlegrounds, then that is the most important factor to consider.
