I came across a article yesterday that said Kerry's deferment request was denied and therefore he joined the USNR and eventually swift boats. I looked at so many articles and alot of posts here yesterday and cannot find the article now. My questions is has anyone else read or heard the same thing?? If so doesn't that make the kerry camps claim that he volunteered a half truth? Like most of things him and his shills say. If anyone could point me to that article it would appreciated. Thanks much.

These three links have information about Kerry's deferment request and his radical political ideology in an interview with the Harvard Crimson in 1970. The last link is the original Harvard Crimson article. It is worth reading and very instructive:

Kerry signed on the dotted line and became an OCSA (E-2) USNR inactive on 18FEB66. He started NAVOCS in AUG66.
