Two widely divergent accounts of John Kerry`s Vietnam experience are told in two best selling books, Unfit for Command and Tour of Duty. Mr. Brinkley is now under contract to your news division. I propose a two hour "no holds barred" debate between these two authors. It would be a ratings blockbuster but more importantly it would give the American people an opportunity to have as much information as possible before the election. That should be your goal and duty.
