Will this be the moment when people have to choose and finally decide where they stand on the issues surrounding the Vietnam War? About time! And long over-due! This could be cathartic for all of us. This is about something too many of us have hidden away and not faced up to for far too long. Why does the truth about Vietnam cause so much upset? Because, we never face the bogey man down. Speak the truth as you know it and let the chips fall where they may. Never give up!

As you say, there is no return, we all share a certain amount of guilt in the unfair treatment of our returning Vietnam servicemen. Maybe that has prevented the healing up to now. I pray that we can finally honor them for their service, their courage and extreme patience. We must make sure they are not dishonored again, by the election of John Kerry. A man who would do them such harm, way back then, can not lead our nation. His kinder, gentler American diplomacy would be the end of all we hold dear in the U.S.! Let's not return to the "minority rules "days.

Because our generation wants to forget about Vietnam, we also forget to honor the people who served our country during that time. Discussing the past does not have to be a time of division! It would be good for all of us to face it together and make some sense out of it, before we really forget and repeat the mistakes of the past. Keep the ads coming! We need to hear your stories. THANK YOU! Laughing
