Man, Does that ever feel good to say that again! I salute the colors all the time,but haven't had to request permission to come aboard since 1966 in Viaques(sp),P.R. upon boarding an LST. Can't say I enjoyed my trips w/ the Gator Navy,but will never forget the ones during storms in the Atlantic.
