At this point in the 2000 election, both Dubya and Gore had released their school transcripts for reporter's review, their full military records, and their medical records (for doctor's review - as did Cheney to address his heart condition status). Same with Clinton/Dole 4 years earlier.

It's not just the SF 180 that should be of concern. Kerry hasn't released his school or med records, on top of the military ones.

Kerry promised to release his medical records for a committee of doctors to review last spring. There is speculation that he has one, two other significant medical conditions, besides his prostate cancer condition and treatments.

The school records are important as well. The Kerry supporters would have us believe that Kerry is so brilliant, is so blessed with a mind that is ever-exploring complexity and nuances that he has difficulty talking to people of ordinary intelligence. But consider this: The most elite private boys school - St Pauls. Yale, head of the Political Union and Class Commencement Speaker. An ultra-elite "Bonesman". A honorably discharge Vet who was entitled to admission preference points on that basis -PLUS - War hero with a Silver Star. Nationally famous leader of anti-War group, with friends in the Senate, Congress, the Skull & Bones Network. Tons of family money and connections as well. A law school admissions office must have salivated at all this - then opened up the pages with his actual academic records and looked at Kerrys grades, SATs, and LSATs.

The results? It seems he only got into a 3rd tier, but, good Law School at Boston College. Not one of the elite schools that Kerry went to since he was toilet-trained.
Or the 2nd tier "bailout" law schools for less distinguished Ivy League students....

A mystery, but a mystery that indicates he might not be as smart as his backers make him out to be, sorta like the case of what uber-genius Noble Algore turned out to be when we looked closer - a rich preppie of average intellect who failed out of Divinity school, then Law School.

And he may not be as healthy as the posing jock he plays in photo-ops appears to be.

I understand the focus of Vets on the SF 180, but don't ignore the bigger picture of Kerry not releasing other crucial records. The military is one of three major areas of Kerrys life records that are not open for examination. And if he is still stonewalling on the medical and academic stuff, you can bet he won't release the military stuff without an even bigger fight. It looks like there is a high probability of damaging details in all three areas that Kerry doesn't want reporters or the public discovering.

IMO, the only way he will is when, beaten down by SwiftVets, events - his credibility in question - the new media, then the MSM, decides to pile on him, demanding a comprehensive "full disclosure".

Meaning demanding Kerry be as open as Gore, Clinton, Dole, and Dubya have been and fully disclose his academic, medical, AND military records might be a more productive strategy than demanding only his military files be opened to scrutiny.

What do YOU think?
