Is the swift boat veterans for truth organizing at the local level so that we can take action to prevent Kerry from becoming President? I have made a 1,000 flyers to seek donations for swift boat veterans for truth and encourage activism and sent letters to the editor. But I expect that we need to organize at the local level to make a stronger presence. Should we join the local Republican Party? Join the traditional Service Organizations? Is there a way for veterans in each state to join forces? Can the swift boat veterans for truth help assemble a listing of veterans by state so that we can join forces now? Will the local political party embrace the veterans? We need to get the independent, undecided voter, and conservative Democrats involved in voting against Kerry.

I've posted this suggestion before. Three tasks remain. First, make sure all 25 million veterans and friends are registered to vote. Secondly, make sure all adult Americans see the photo of cheesy punks on the Iwo Jima Memorial and hear brief, germane quotes from Flipper John. Finally, make sure everyone votes. Remember, the "jumping turtle" can outrun Flipper John if it has the will. (It sort of conjures up an Aesop-like vision of a turtle racing a dolphin.)
