In his testimony before Congress, Kerry basically said that alot of atrocities occured. Then he said that he "later learned" that these things were forbidden by the Geneva Convention, etc.
Has anyone bothered to check whether officer training at the time included instruction on the Geneva Convention? I suspect it did. It does now.
This is a rather minor point, but Kerry attempted to portray himself as an innocent who was duped into committing war crimes.

I remember someone mentioning that on the radio, but it was never followed up.
Just like "Mr. Kerry, why didn't you use your little 8mm camera to record some of the atrocities and war crimes occurring all around you? You reenacted your "heroic" exploits in the jungles of Vietnam, so why didn't you just reenact the war crimes?"
Food for thought. _________________ Everytime he had a choice, Kerry chose to side with communists rather than the United States. |
