'Swift boat' crew can't rewrite the way it was

What Jack does not understand is that when the history of the Vietnam War is full of lies and distortions it needs to be corrected. He and his kind in the leadership of the Vietnam Veterans Against the War have made careers on the lies they told. Reading Jack’s article it appears he sees himself as hero. I think he is angry because his kind will be exposed for what they did after they came home and created a fiction of the American Soldier as rapist, butcher, baby killer and all the other lies they told about us. |

History is written by the victors. In this case, the anti-war left. It has been taught that we weren't honorable, the Vietnam war was a waste and all the rest of the garbage to come of them.
We have an uphill battle to correct that and others have and still are trying. With the notoriety the Swift vets have been getting, we may just have the best chance ever to correct the travesty of what the left has taught about Vietnam and the brave people who fought it.
Do a web search for the VVAR (Vietnam Veterans for Academic Reform) and you will find one such site. _________________ Clark County Conservative |
